Hey everyone,
I just came across Kawynn Humphries' case again, and I find myself thinking about the larger issue of community involvement in these tragic events. It's so frustrating to see another case like this where no one seems to come forward with information. I know it's not always easy or safe, but community members are such a crucial piece of solving these crimes. It’s heartbreaking for Kawynn’s family and friends to have no answers even years later.
St. Louis had such a tough year in 2016 with so many homicides. It feels like the city is battling an uphill fight against this wave of violence. The police can only do so much without tips or new leads, which makes community support vital. It's scary to think that a lack of witness cooperation might mean justice never comes for Kawynn. I hope anyone who knows something finds the courage to speak up, even if anonymously through CrimeStoppers. There's a family out there desperately seeking closure.
What do you all think? Is there anything more that can be done to encourage people to come forward in cases like this? I really hope we see some progress for the sake of Kawynn’s loved ones.
Let's keep discussing and spreading the word. Maybe that one share or conversation can make all the difference.
Stay safe everyone, and take care.
