I've been following the case of Jose Rangel Mata, and one thing that's been really bothering me is the location of the shooting. It's so unsettling to think about how this kind of violence could happen in a parking lot, a place we all use regularly without a second thought. It makes you wonder about safety measures and if more could be done to prevent such tragedies. My heart goes out to Jose's family; losing a loved one in such a sudden and violent manner is unimaginable. Also, I'm curious about the Ballpark North Apartments and if there's a history of incidents in that area. Does anyone know if the community has taken any steps to address safety concerns since this happened? Keeping everyone in my thoughts.
