I've been following Jordan Reed's case and my heart truly goes out to his family and friends. I can't help but think about how young both Jordan and the shooter were. It's a heavy reminder of how critical it is to educate everyone, especially young people, about firearm safety, even if they don’t own a gun themselves. Accidents like these are devastatingly avoidable, but they underscore the real dangers of mishandling firearms. I wish the community strength and healing as they honor Jordan's life and work towards preventing similar tragedies in the future.
