It's so hard to wrap my head around the events that unfolded at the LaQuinta Inn on South Broadway. My heart goes out to the families hurt by this. I can’t stop thinking about the children involved—losing not one, but both parents in such a senseless act. I can't imagine the pain and confusion they must be facing. It really makes you think about what the ripple effects of domestic disputes can lead to. No one should have to pay such a heavy price. I hope this tragedy encourages more people to reach out for help when they're struggling with conflict. We all need to remember that there are always resources available and the importance of stepping away before things escalate into irreversible consequences. I'm truly hoping the community can rally around and support these children and all those who are grieving. There's no way to undo what's been done, but maybe we can learn something vital and prevent future tragedies.
