I came across Cynthia's case the other day, and I can't stop thinking about the details surrounding her disappearance. One thing that really stands out to me is her phone call from Denver on December 22, 1994, asking her parents for $500. Has anyone delved into why she needed that money so urgently? Was she planning to return to Fairbanks because of something specific, or could there have been some trouble she was trying to escape from in Denver? It feels like there's so much more to that moment, possibly pointing to the events leading up to or after her disappearance. Her parents being murdered just adds another layer of complexity to this case, and with Roger's confession and subsequent suicide, it becomes even harder to piece together. Does anyone have insight or theories about what her connection to Denver might have been or why she ended up back in Fairbanks alone?
