I’ve been following Jim Brown's case for a while, and I can't help but think about how tight-knit the La Marque community must have been with him around. From everything I've read, Jim was such a caring person, always ready to lend a hand. It breaks my heart to know that someone with such a generous spirit was taken away in such a senseless act of violence. Has anyone heard anything more about potential suspects or leads? It’s so frustrating to see cases like this one go cold, knowing there are families left in anguish. I hope that witnesses or anyone with information might find the courage to come forward so Jim's family can find some semblance of peace. My thoughts are with them, especially his mother Bernice, his son Clarence, and his grandkids. They deserve answers. ?

Did anyone else notice the detail about the shooting happening near La Marque Middle School? It just breaks my heart to think about how many kids might have been around at that time. Even if they didn't witness it, just knowing something so awful happened so close to a place where they're supposed to feel safe is so alarming. Jim Brown's family must be going through so much, and on top of that, the whole community, especially the young ones, must be shaken. It feels so unfair that we still don't have any answers. I genuinely hope that someone somewhere comes forward with any piece of info that can help solve this case. It's just terrible thinking about how his family, especially his grandkids, are dealing with this. They deserve justice and some peace of mind.
