I’ve been following this case and just feel so deeply for Steven's family. One thing that really stands out to me is how quickly things escalated between Steven and Ian. It's so distressing to think that a disagreement about chores and a car part could lead to such a devastating outcome. It makes you wonder what could have been if they had found a way to de-escalate the situation or if any warning signs were missed. I've read that Steven was only living there for a few days, and it’s just tragic that a place that was supposed to be a temporary refuge ended up being the site of his death. My heart goes out to Steven’s children and family, who are now left to navigate life without him. I hope they’re receiving all the support they need during this incredibly difficult time.
