I still can't stop thinking about how sadly ironic it is that Shawnn traveled all the way from California to Texas, probably thinking he was in for a fresh start or maybe just visiting for a bit, only to have this tragedy unfold. It really gets to me thinking about how unpredictable life can be. My thoughts are with his family and friends who now have to navigate the maze of emotions and legal proceedings from such a distance. It's mind-boggling how one moment can change the lives of so many people forever. I'm grateful for the courage of those who spoke up during the trial and helped bring some semblance of justice for Shawnn. Such a heavy reminder of how precious life is and how quickly things can change. Please share if anyone knows of a way we can support his family from afar.
