I've been following the tragic case of Dylan Seymour and something about it weighs on me. I can't stop thinking about how the family's day must have started just like any other, filled with excitement for a day outdoors, only for it to end in such an unbelievable way. I can't even imagine the kind of shock and heartbreak Amy and her older son must be feeling right now. Also, being attacked by wild hogs must have been terrifying beyond words. It’s like one of those drawn-out nightmares.
I’ve been reading up on similar accidents, and it seems like the conditions can be so chaotic that pinpointing how things happen in the moment is almost impossible. I really hope that as the investigation wraps up, they'll be able to offer the family some more clarity, if not peace.
I know the Tolar community is strong, and the collective support seems to be helping, but I still can’t shake the idea of how deeply this will impact all of them moving forward. Let's keep them in our thoughts.
