Just thinking about Brendan and how young he was—only 19. He had his whole life ahead of him, and to have it ended so abruptly is just beyond comprehension. I didn't know him personally, but living in the Dickinson area, it really hits close to home when something like this happens.
It feels like the whole community is holding their breath hoping for justice. I can't imagine the pain his family is going through. Seeing the support for them through the GoFundMe and elsewhere is a reminder of the strength of our community, but it’s so hard knowing that nothing will bring Brendan back. Let's stay vigilant and keep an eye out for updates. Justice for Brendan is so important.
