I was reading about Eric Montez's tragic death, and I just can’t shake this feeling of unease. Was anyone else shocked about the apparent lack of security measures at his apartment complex? You'd think at a place where people live, especially in a city as big as Dallas, there’d be some decent security to prevent things like this. According to what I've read, the assailant could just walk up and do this without a hitch. I hope this incident prompts the complex and others in the area to reassess their security policies and make necessary changes. My thoughts are with Eric’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. It's so awful to see a young life cut short like this, and I hope they find the suspect soon to at least bring some measure of justice. If anyone has more details or updates, please share because every bit helps in trying to piece together what could have been done to prevent such a loss.
