I came across this case recently and can’t seem to get little Zillyana off my mind. It's absolutely gut-wrenching to think about how a moment's lack of responsibility can turn families upside down. There’s so much conversation around gun safety these days, yet tragedies like this keep happening. It makes me wonder if there are more effective ways to educate and enforce these critical safety measures we often talk about. I keep coming back to the idea that the adults in Zillyana’s life were supposed to keep her safe, yet both Elias and Jaylon made devastating choices. I can't imagine the anguish for the family and friends who loved her. Has anyone here found more details on if there’s been any push within the Waco community to enforce stricter gun safety laws or offer educational programs after this incident? It might not change the past, but I hope it could help prevent such a sorrowful event from happening again. It’s hard not to feel a mix of anger and sadness when thinking about how easily this might have been avoided. Sending thoughts to those who knew and cherished Zillyana.
