Has anyone else looked into the area where this happened? Munger Avenue is typically a quiet spot, even in Old East Dallas. I've read through a few local forums, and it seems like the neighbors are pretty shaken up by this. They mentioned a lot of kids and families living nearby, which makes this act even more disturbing. It’s unsettling to think that something like this can occur in what should be the safety of one's own community. If any of you are familiar with the area or live around there, is this type of violence common or was this really out of the blue? My thoughts go out to Braylon’s family and friends. They deserve answers and for justice to be served. Hoping Detective Anderson and his team catch a break soon.
Hi everyone,
I've been following the case of Braylon Smith's tragic murder, and something that really stands out to me is the potential role that surveillance footage might play in solving this case. I’ve read that there were a lot of cameras in the vicinity of the apartment complex on Munger Avenue. Given the time and nature of the incident, there’s a good chance that somewhere, somehow, a camera might have captured useful footage – whether it’s of the gray Nissan Maxima or something else that could give the police a lead.
I can’t imagine the pain Braylon’s family is experiencing, and I hope for their sake that anyone with footage comes forward. It could be a key puzzle piece in bringing justice not just for Braylon, but for the whole community that’s mourning this loss.
If anyone has any thoughts on the likelihood of camera footage being used, or the usual process of obtaining it in cases like this, I’d love to hear more about it. Sending all my condolences to Braylon's loved ones.
