Hey everyone, I've been following the case closely and wanted to share something about Jose Manuel Flores Jr. that keeps sticking with me. Amidst all the chaos and horror of that day at Robb Elementary, Jose was holding onto something so special—his honor roll certificate. It just breaks my heart knowing this bright, hardworking boy was celebrating an achievement he was truly proud of.
Thinking about how much he loved baseball and video games, I can't help but see a kid who was destined to do great things. I've been picturing all the afternoons he might have spent playing baseball or conquering a new level in a video game, moments that should've been countless.
To those who knew and loved him, my thoughts are with you. It's absolutely essential that we keep pushing for the justice these families deserve and ensure the changes needed to prevent this from happening again. This can't just fade into another statistic. We need to keep remembering Jose and all the victims. Let's support these families any way we can. ?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking about the aftermath of the Uvalde tragedy and how Jose Manuel Flores Jr.'s family, along with other families, are pursuing lawsuits. It’s just unbelievably hard to imagine the pain they are enduring right now, and the sheer determination it must take to seek justice at a time like this. I truly hope these legal proceedings can bring some answers, accountability, and maybe a sense of peace for them, as they navigate through such a traumatic loss.
One thing that’s been gnawing at me is the fact that the school district and law enforcement agencies are under such heavy scrutiny. I can't help but think about how crucial it is that these institutions learn from this to prevent any similar tragedies in the future. So many of us send our kids off to school trusting that they will be safe, and something like this just shakes that trust to its core.
I’m really hoping that the ongoing investigations will lead to meaningful policy changes. We need to make sure that no other family has to endure the same fate. Sending so much love to Jose's family and all the families suffering from this unspeakable event.
What are your thoughts on how the community can support these families while pushing for change?
Stay safe, everyone. Hug your kids a little tighter tonight.
