I've been reading about Khylie Sorrells' tragic case, and one thing that really stands out to me is the bravery of her mother, Brittany. Despite being in such a terrifying situation and suffering a gunshot wound, she managed to protect her other children and lead them to safety. It's unimaginable to endure such trauma and still have the strength to think clearly and act to safeguard your kids. My heart goes out to Brittany and her family; no parent should ever experience such pain and loss. I'm hoping the community continues to surround them with support and that justice is served swiftly.
