I’ve been following the tragic case of Duvan Betancourth-Gonzalez, and I can’t stop thinking about the consequences this had for his family and loved ones. It’s so hard to wrap my head around how quickly an evening can turn into a nightmare. Even though Juan Eduardo Martinez has been charged, I can't imagine the pain Duvan’s family must feel without real closure or the whole truth coming out. The fact that more people might be involved makes the situation even more disturbing. I really hope that those who have more information about the incident or any footage come forward soon to help piece together what really happened that night. No family should ever have to endure this kind of loss and uncertainty. My thoughts are with them during this unimaginably difficult time.
