I’ve always found Juan Echegaray’s case deeply puzzling, especially considering the year he disappeared – 1996. It was a time when the internet was just starting, and perhaps if the technology and social media scrutiny of today existed back then, someone might have seen something or remembered some detail. With Echegaray's communication difficulties, I'm worried that even if he attempted to ask for help, he might not have been understood. It's frustrating how often cases like his seem to hit a dead-end just because there wasn't enough awareness or tools at the time to gain more insight. Anyone else think that if this happened today, it might have turned out differently?

Has anyone looked into the possibility of Juan Echegaray's dentures being a clue? I know it might sound odd, but considering his communication difficulties, maybe he frequented specific places for dental maintenance or repairs? Especially if there were any local clinics he might have been familiar with? Denture fittings can be pretty distinctive, and if he had regular appointments somewhere, they might remember him or have records. It’s a long shot, but it could be something. Sometimes a small lead can open up new avenues for investigation. If anyone has thoughts or similar cases, please share.
