Has anyone been following the case of Karla Castillo? It's truly a sad situation for her family and especially for her daughter. I can't stop thinking about the neighbors and how they might have experienced that night. Living close to such an incident must be terrifying.
It's a reminder that domestic violence can happen anywhere, and sometimes signs are visible to outsiders who might feel helpless. I hope the community can come together to support her daughter as she recovers, both physically and emotionally. Sending strength to everyone involved.
I just can't stop thinking about how Karla's daughter is coping with all this. At just 14, she endured a horrifying ordeal and has to face life without her mom. It's so overwhelming to imagine what she must be going through right now. Having survived surgery is a relief, but the emotional and psychological scars will take much longer to heal.
