I’ve been reflecting on the immense pressure and challenges faced by law enforcement officers, and Justin Michael Garcia's case has really brought this to light for me. While we often see officers as pillars of strength, it's crucial to remember that they’re human too, dealing with their own struggles. The news of his passing has really struck a chord in our community, as so many speak highly of his character and dedication. I didn’t know Justin personally, but hearing stories about his kindness and integrity from friends shows just how much of a positive force he was. It makes you wonder how we can better support those who serve and protect us every day. To his family, friends, and colleagues, my thoughts are with you during this unfathomable time. Remembering the goodness he brought might help in healing, though such a loss can never truly be filled.
