Has anyone else been following the details about the makeshift homeless encampment where Carlos was renting space for his studio? It’s so unsettling to think about how he turned to such a place for his creative pursuits. It's just a stark reminder of the struggles artists often face. Carlos was clearly someone who lived for his art and I can't help but feel for his family trying to come to terms with such a senseless loss. The fact that it was a cousin behind the tragedy makes it even more incomprehensible. I sincerely hope his family finds the support they need through the community and the GoFundMe they've set up. Losing someone so talented and cherished in such a horrific manner is beyond words.
Has anyone else been following the mental health aspect of Nathan Miller's case? It's so difficult to comprehend how something like this could happen over such unfounded accusations. I can't help but wonder if the mental evaluation will reveal something significant that might explain his actions. It’s just so hard to reconcile this with what we know about Carlos, who was such a vibrant part of the Houston arts scene. My heart goes out to his family and everyone affected. I really hope they find some solace in this difficult time. What are the legal implications if Miller is found to have a severe mental illness? Does anyone have insight into how that might affect the trial?
