I was rereading some articles about the incident involving Sir Milton LaCharles Evans and something stands out—the whole situation around the security at that strip mall. It’s so unsettling to think about whether things might've been different if there were better safety measures in place. It's a tragedy for everyone involved, and you have to wonder if property owners should do more to ensure a safer environment for everyone. Nobody should lose their life while out in what should be a safe public space. It’s just so sad for the families who now have this void in their lives. I hope there’s some accountability and that this might push for better practices in the future. Anyone hear anything about changes or actions the strip mall is taking?
