Hey everyone, I've been going down the rabbit hole reading about David Milton Crouch's disappearance in the Bridger-Teton area. One thing that keeps running through my mind is the fishing gear. I mean, he went off on his own specifically to do some fishing, right? But did anyone ever find his fishing rod or any tackle? It seems odd to me if there was no trace of his equipment left behind. If he intended to fish at Island Lake, you'd think there might be something. Even a single piece of gear could work as a clue. Has anyone read anything that touches on this detail? Sometimes it's the small things that can crack a case wide open. Just wondering if any fishing folks out there have insights on what might happen to gear in those conditions.
