Has anyone else been following the details about how Amtrak was involved in this tragic chain of events? I’ve been thinking a lot about the wrongful death lawsuit from Richie Aaron’s wife, Breayonna. I can't imagine the pain she’s going through right now, and I’m glad the jury saw the need to hold Amtrak accountable for their part. It’s really distressing to think that maybe some of these tragedies could have been avoided with better safety measures in place. Makes me wonder how many other incidents have occurred due to a lack of proper security, not just on trains, but in other public spaces too. We need to start a conversation about improving safety standards so we’re not just reacting but preventing these situations from happening in the first place. Thoughts?
