Hey everyone, I’ve been following the tragic case of Damarion Lewis and President Wynn and it just gets more baffling by the day. I came across a photo of the courtyard where it happened and can't stop thinking about how unsettling it must be to live there now. It’s the kind of thing that shakes a neighborhood to its core. Thanksgiving is supposed to be a time for family and gratitude, and yet here we have these young men, Damarion and President, who had their futures snatched away in a moment of senseless violence. It’s bewildering and so sad that we still don’t have answers. This makes me think about the importance of community and how crucial it is for people to feel safe where they live. I can’t imagine being in that complex, especially on the holidays now, and feeling the same sense of community or security. Has anyone heard anything more from residents about their experiences since then? Let's hope someone steps up with the information the families so desperately need.
