Hey everyone, I’ve been following Michael Wilkinson’s case and something has really been on my mind. Given that Chicago and Illinois are facing problems with handling missing person cases, do you think reforms could actually make a substantial difference? It’s worrying to think about how limited resources might affect cases like his. I understand that each case is unique, but shouldn’t there be a standardized procedure that ensures each case gets the necessary attention? Especially considering how overburdened the investigative units are, could better data collection improve the odds of finding missing persons? Just wondering what you all think about the potential benefits of these changes and if they could really help people like Michael.
