Hey everyone,
I’ve been closely following the McMillin case for years now, and I came across something that got me thinking. Does anyone find it odd that the caller who contacted McMillin’s former employer in April 1999 has never been identified? What were their intentions, and why check up specifically on her status as missing? Could it be someone who had information about her disappearance, or was it a hoax?
It might be a long shot, but perhaps revisiting phone records or even witness statements from that time might offer a fresh perspective. Has anyone heard of similar cases where random checks were made after a person went missing? Could it have been someone trying to lead authorities away from the actual events, given that she was possibly sighted in Anchorage? The calling and the sighting seem too close to be coincidental.
Would love to hear your thoughts or if anyone has looked into similar angles before!
I've been thinking about the fact that McMillin was a physician's assistant at the Carlson Center when she went missing. From what I gather, she was really dedicated to her job and passionate about helping people. It's strange that someone like her, who seemed committed and had no apparent reasons to just run off, could vanish without a trace. The call to her former employer in April 1999 is baffling to me. Why would someone inquire specifically about her missing status? Could it be someone trying to confuse the trail or was there someone genuinely concerned about her wellbeing? It's hard not to speculate that someone knew more about her disappearance than they're letting on. Given her profession, could there be any possibility that someone she knew through work was involved in her disappearance?
Hey everyone, I've been following the McMillin case for a while and have a new theory that popped into my head. Considering that this happened back in 1998, I think a lot of attention has been focused on her disappearance from Fairbanks, but what if the key actually lies in Wasilla? It's mentioned that authorities thought she might have been working there. As a community, are there any locals who remember seeing a dark green Subaru Loyale around that area during the time she went missing? The call to her former employer is still such a mystery to me too. It's been years, but the idea that someone called specifically about her missing status—could it have been someone who knew more or was it just a strange coincidence? I feel like there could be clues we might uncover by looking more into what was happening around Wasilla during that time. Would love to hear thoughts or if anyone has connections to dig a bit deeper into the Wasilla angle!
