I’ve been following Lind's case for a while now, and something that strikes me is the note she left behind. It seems like such a definitive decision, but why choose a place like Catalina State Park? From what I’ve read, it’s a pretty big area with lots of trails and rugged terrain. Could it be that Lind had some kind of special connection to that place? Maybe there’s more significance to the location that we’re not seeing or maybe it was simply chosen for its vastness and solitude. I just wonder if there are aspects of her life or other locations that might give us more insight into her choice. Every time I read about her car being abandoned there, it makes me think there must be something more to the story that we’re missing.

Has anyone else looked into the weather conditions on the day Lind disappeared? I read somewhere that it rained heavily a few days before December 4, 1998, which might have made the trails harder to navigate. I'm wondering if the park's environment at that time could have hindered search efforts or maybe even caused any possible evidence to be washed away or obscured. It might also add to the difficulty she faced if she did indeed plan to harm herself. Has anyone ever come across any additional information about the weather or how it might have impacted the area searches?
