Hey everyone, I've been digging through some news archives and local forums about the Vigil case from Pueblo in '99, and something kind of jumped out at me. Has anyone else noticed there isn't a lot of info about the SUV's condition when it was found? We know it was abandoned, but were there any signs of a struggle or anything to suggest why he might've left it? You'd think if there was anything left behind—personal items, evidence of mechanical failure—it'd be public by now. It feels weird to me that there's so little on this part. Has anyone come across any detailed reports or insights on that aspect? Feels like it could be a missing piece of the puzzle.

I’ve been following the Vigil case for a while and something that stands out to me is the detail about his vehicle. Does anyone know where exactly it was found abandoned, or if there was anything unusual inside or nearby? The info about his gun also has me wondering if authorities ever considered that someone could have forced him out of the vehicle or if there was any sign of a struggle. If we have any folks here familiar with the area or anyone who’s looked into similar cases, I’d appreciate your thoughts. It just seems strange that his SUV would be left behind without any clear signs pointing to what happened.
