I've been thinking about the impact on the family and friends of Michael Richard since this case was all over the news. I can't even begin to imagine the pain they're going through. It made me wonder about support systems for crime victims' families—are there enough resources for them in Memphis? Losing someone suddenly and so violently must leave a huge void. If anyone knows of local groups or organizations that help families heal from such tragedies, please share. It’s vital that they have somewhere to turn during such a difficult time.
