I've been following the Barris Jones case and am struck by how something as simple as taking out the trash can end so tragically. It makes you think about the everyday actions we take for granted, and how life can change in an instant. I can't imagine what Barris's family is going through, knowing that a mundane chore ended in such a senseless loss. The pain of losing a loved one in such an unexpected way must be immeasurable. Does anyone know if the apartment complex has since increased security measures? It seems like something more should be done to prevent such tragedies from happening again. Sending strength and support to all who knew and loved Barris.
