I've been following the case of Derek Adams and have been thinking about his family lately. It's incredibly frustrating to see that, even after all this time, there's been no progress or update on finding the person or people responsible for his death. I read his obituary in The Commercial Appeal and it's clear he was loved by many. It kills me to think of his family still waiting for answers, having to celebrate each birthday or holiday without him. Does anyone else think there might be a connection between the gun violence incident reported in Memphis on June 6, 2014, and what happened to Derek the day before? It's strange how close those events are, and yet there's no word from the authorities linking them. I'd appreciate hearing any insights or ideas. Maybe keeping the conversation going might help bring new information to light. Those who loved him deserve some peace.
