Hey everyone, I’ve been following the LaDarius Brooks case since it first happened, and one detail that’s stuck with me is how the community came together after his passing. LaDarius, or "Tall 40," as I’ve learned he was lovingly called, seems to have been a pillar for so many people. I read somewhere that after his murder, there were several gatherings and vigils held in his honor. It’s incredible how, despite the tragedy, these events brought his loved ones and the wider Memphis community together to remember him and support each other. I can’t help but think about how these gatherings must have been both painful and healing, allowing people to share stories, express their grief, and keep his memory alive. Does anyone else here have more information about how these events impacted those who attended? Or how they might have helped push for the resolution of the case? Sending strength to everyone who knew and loved LaDarius.
