I recently came across the story of Randall Scott Smith, and I can't stop thinking about his family and the immense loss they're enduring. It's devastating to comprehend the pain his loved ones must feel every day without him. Randall was incredibly courageous, giving everything to protect those around him. His actions during the Chattanooga shooting speak volumes about his character and valor. I can't imagine the strength it must take for his family to keep going, especially his wife and young daughters. I hope that they find some comfort in the outpouring of love and support from the community and the nation. Such bravery and selflessness deserve to be acknowledged and remembered always. I hope we can learn from this tragedy and strive towards creating a safer world in honor of heroes like Randall.
