Has anyone else been thinking about the bravery of the first responders in the Chattanooga shooting? Reading about how they ran towards danger to protect others really struck a chord with me. It's just unimaginable to think about those terrifying moments. They risked their own lives to stop the attacker and prevent further loss. I can’t stop thinking about the families, like Carson Holmquist's, who now have to find a way to move forward without their loved ones. It's such a heavy reminder of the courage some have to show in the face of terror and the impact these moments have on an entire community. I hope we can keep discussing ways to support those left behind and ensure that security measures are improved so that such tragedies are prevented in the future. Sending love and strength to all the families involved.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the families of the victims from the Chattanooga shooting, especially Carson Holmquist’s loved ones. It must be incredibly difficult to lose someone who served their country so honorably, only for their life to be taken in such a senseless, violent act back home. The ripples of grief and loss must be overwhelming for his family, friends, and fellow Marines. Carson’s assignment as a diesel mechanic specialist in various deployments speaks volumes about his dedication and skill. It's tough to imagine someone with such a promising career and life being cut short. I hope his family knows how many people are holding them in their thoughts and reflecting on Carson’s service and sacrifice. Does anyone know if there have been any memorials or dedications made in honor of Carson and the other Marines? It's important for us to remember and honor their bravery and contributions, ensuring their legacy continues despite this tragedy.
