Has anyone else looked into the background of both Jesse and Dewey? It's such a tragic event, and I keep wondering what might have led up to the situation that night. Jesse was a Dutch national—does anyone know if he had family in the States or if they had any involvement in the proceedings? I can't imagine what they must be going through, losing someone so suddenly in such a senseless way. And Dewey... I'm curious about his past too. Was there a history that could give any insight into why things unfolded as they did? This case seems like it had some layers that might not have fully come to light during the trial. It's tough to read about these moments where one decision changes so many lives forever. Thoughts and insights are welcome!
