Has anyone looked into the possibility that Weller might have tried to find shelter from the storm the night he disappeared? I was just thinking about the hazardous weather conditions that were happening at the time. It makes sense that someone unfamiliar with the area, especially in those conditions, might get disoriented pretty easily. The extended search didn’t pick up anything, but could he have sought refuge in a nearby abandoned building or maybe even some spot that's just off the regular search grid? Given how rough the weather was, I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to improvise. It might not explain everything, but the blizzard seems like a critical factor here that could change a lot about how the events unfolded. Just a thought.
