I’ve been thinking about Mr. Wonsik No’s family and how they’re coping since the tragedy at East Side Market. It’s hard to imagine the pain of losing a loved one in such a senseless way. From everything I’ve read, Mr. No seemed to be a hardworking and dedicated individual, opening the store every morning for the community. It must be incredibly difficult for his family to process not only his loss but also knowing how it happened. My heart really goes out to them.
I also wanted to mention how vital the CCTV footage was in piecing together what happened that day. It’s chilling to think that something as ordinary as a security camera could make such a difference in catching the perpetrator. I know there's a bigger conversation to be had about youth violence and its root causes, but the use of video evidence in this case was crucial, and I hope advancements in tech continue to help in delivering justice more swiftly in the future.
If anyone has additional insights into how Mr. No's family is doing or any community efforts to remember him, I’d love to hear more. It’s important to keep his memory alive and support those he left behind.
