Has anyone else been following the case of Samantha Crumpton? I recently read about how Marcus Lewis thought he was confronting an intruder and ended up tragically shooting Samantha, who was inside her own home. It’s just so difficult to wrap my head around how such a mix-up could happen. I can't stop thinking about her kids—losing a parent like that must be unimaginably hard. It’s so essential that these cases are handled with all the care and diligence they deserve. I hope the investigation brings clarity and justice for Samantha and her family. And I really think we, as a community, should discuss how to prevent situations like this, maybe through better communication or understanding about the presence of those around us in shared spaces.
