Does anyone else find it incredibly haunting how social media can give us a glimpse into someone's mental state before something tragic happens? Andre's concerning statements on Facebook make me wonder about the signs we often overlook. It's chilling to think how Shanel and Jacqueline were actively trying to help, but the system still failed to see the danger. I can't imagine what Shanel's friends and family must be going through, knowing she was trying to do the right thing by looking out for Andre. This breaks my heart for everyone involved, especially those kids left behind. I hope some good can eventually come from this, perhaps by raising awareness about how we evaluate and respond to mental health crises.
