I've been following the case of Abdelshakoor Sider, and I can't help but think about the incredible bravery demonstrated by his father during such a terrifying ordeal. To be in a situation where your business is being robbed, your family is in immediate danger, and then to have the courage to chase down the perpetrator—it's beyond what most of us could imagine facing. While nothing can erase the unimaginable loss of his son, his actions ensured that Peete was brought to justice and perhaps prevented even more harm from being done. My heart goes out to the Sider family. It’s a stark reminder of the lengths to which one will go when loved ones are at risk and how a community often rallies in times of need. I'm really hopeful that justice will be fully served in memory of Abdelshakoor.
