I can't stop thinking about Vianca's dreams of becoming a fashion designer. At just 15, she had her whole future ahead of her, and I bet she would have colored the world with her creativity. Her story also got me reflecting on the many voices and dreams that get silenced too soon because of such senseless violence. It's infuriating how someone else's recklessness can just erase a young life and all its potential in an instant. My heart goes out to her family; I can't imagine the pain of knowing your child's killer isn't being held accountable. Cases like this make me question how we can better protect kids from such dangers and work towards a justice system that truly delivers justice. Does anyone know if there have been any community efforts in Memphis to remember Vianca or raise awareness about gun safety since her passing?
