Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Acosta, the young individual missing from his foster home. Just stumbled across something that got me thinking. In the initial reports, it was mentioned that he had called saying he wasn't coming back and might be in Honduras. Given that the call was made quite some time ago, what do you all think about the possibility of him leading a completely new life there? Considering how he likely had to adapt quickly, it’s plausible that his appearance and even behavior could be drastically different now. The challenges of starting anew in a different country must have been immense, especially as a young person. Have any of you seen cases where a missing person was found living differently or even under a new identity? It's situations like these that really puzzle me. Appreciate any insights or similar stories you might know!

Hey everyone, I came across this case and something's really sticking with me. Acosta was reported missing years ago when he was still a juvenile, and from what I've gathered, he's believed to be in Honduras now. What's puzzling to me is the phone call he made to his foster home saying he wasn't coming back. It's clear he wanted to distance himself, but has anyone looked into what might have been the reason behind that call? Was he possibly in some kind of distress, or did he have a plan all along? If anyone has insight into how foster kids cope in similar situations or if there might be cultural ties that he was returning to in Honduras, I'd love to hear more.
