I've been thinking a lot about the role that the community plays in situations like what happened to LaDarrius. It's so hard to understand how someone so young could have ended up in such a dangerous situation. From what I've read, it sounds like the city of Nashville and local leaders are really pushing for initiatives to support youth and prevent this kind of tragedy from happening again. Does anyone here know if there have been any successful programs implemented in Nashville or other cities that focus on engaging teens and providing them with better opportunities? It's crucial that we find ways to support our young people and give them a chance to dream beyond the circumstances they’re in. Thinking of LaDarrius’s family and all those affected.
