What's even more haunting is that he was able to make it to a hookah bar to seek help after being shot in the head. I can't imagine the mix of fear and determination he must have felt in those moments. The fact that his own cousin, Charles, was arrested for his murder makes it even more difficult to process. It's clear that these kinds of disputes tear families apart in the most unimaginable ways. My heart truly aches for everyone affected, especially OShay’s friends and family who have to pick up the pieces after such a senseless loss. It definitely highlights how crucial community engagement and thorough policing are in unraveling these tragic events. Hats off to the detectives who put in the hard work to ensure justice for OShay. Stories like these really remind me of the importance of solving the drug issues in our communities to prevent more tragedies like this one.
