Has anyone else been thinking about the role of surveillance footage in the case of James Morton? While it's absolutely awful what happened to him, it makes me wonder how many other incidents might go unnoticed without these cameras. I can’t imagine what James’ family is going through, seeing those last moments captured like that. But on the flip side, the footage seems like a key piece of evidence that might bring some justice. It’s a double-edged sword really. For the neighborhoods in Memphis, maybe having more security like this could prevent such incidents? Or at least deter them. Thoughts?
