I keep thinking about the traffic light where Anthony's life was cruelly cut short. It's just mind-boggling how something as mundane as stopping at a light can turn into a nightmare. How many times have we all sat at a red light, lost in our own thoughts, waiting for the green? Anthony should have been able to continue on to wherever he was headed that day. My heart aches for Anthony's family and friends who now have this ordinary image forever stained with tragedy. It must be so painful every time they drive past that intersection. St. Louis has got to find a way to get a handle on this relentless gun violence. How many more lives have to be lost?
