Has anyone else been looking into the security protocols at O’Cielo’s Mexican Bar and Grill? Alvin Hart's death is such a tragic reminder of why safety measures need to be up to par at places where lots of people gather. The fact that David Alexander was charged for acting as a security guard without proper registration makes me wonder what the bar's hiring practices were like. Did they even verify the credentials of their security staff? While much of the focus has been on finding the original shooters, I can't help but feel that the establishment has some responsibility here too. Places like bars should be safe spaces for everyone, and Alvin deserved that safety as much as anyone else. My thoughts go out to his family and the community that still misses him.

I've been reflecting a lot on the role of unregistered security personnel in incidents like Alvin Hart's tragic death. It seems that more often than not, the lack of proper training and credentials leads to these unnecessary escalations. My heart goes out to Alvin's family and everyone who knew him as a friend and community member. It's frustrating and, honestly, terrifying to think that an untrained individual with a firearm could change a family’s life forever. This case should be a wake-up call for businesses about the importance of hiring only certified and properly trained security staff. We know Alvin as someone who uplifted his community, and it's devastating to see his life end because of what appears to be a mix of negligence and chaos. For Alvin’s sake and his family's, I hope there will be more stringent regulations and oversight to prevent such tragedies. Nobody should have to live in fear, nor should lives be put at risk by preventable circumstances. Thoughts and love to those coping with this loss.
