I've been following the case of John Beers closely, and my heart goes out to his family during this incredibly difficult time. As an Army veteran, he surely endured and overcame many challenges, making his senseless murder even more tragic. I've been particularly interested in the timeline of how the suspects were apprehended. It's so wild to me that Diangelo Goliday managed to evade capture for over a year until the U.S. Marshals finally caught up with him in June 2018. It raises so many questions about how someone implicated in such a serious crime can manage to stay off the radar for so long. I can't imagine the relief mixed with frustration that Beers' family must have felt when they finally heard about his arrest. Does anyone know what ultimately led to Goliday's capture? Was it a tip from someone in the community, or did law enforcement uncover new evidence that led them to him? Keeping the conversation respectful and supportive, as always.
