I’ve been thinking a lot about how Quinton Thornton’s murder unfolded at the Marathon gas station. I keep wondering whether there were any warning signs that things might escalate during the argument with Danny Haskins. It’s terrifying to think that such a simple everyday activity like fueling up your car could turn deadly over a sudden confrontation. It just makes me so sad for Quinton and his family. No one deserves to meet such a violent end, and certainly not over a disagreement at a gas station. I’ve also been curious if the police are finding more about the relationship or connection between Haskins and Martin. Was there anything that tied them together before this horrible incident? It’s puzzling that a 57-year-old and a 20-year-old would team up unless there’s more to this story. I’m really hoping for some answers soon. My thoughts are with Quinton’s loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
