Hey everyone,
I've been following the Turreze Harris case closely, and it's absolutely devastating not just for his family, but for the entire Kansas City community. The fact that so many families are left without closure speaks to a larger issue that we can't ignore. With nearly half of the homicides going unsolved, it leaves me wondering—what can we as community members do to support these families and urge a change?
I've noticed how persistent Harris's family has been in canvassing and working alongside groups like the AdHoc Group Against Crime. Their dedication is truly inspiring. While we may not all have the means to canvas neighborhoods or distribute flyers, perhaps there are other ways we can help. Maybe sharing the flyers on social media or discussing these cases within our circles could keep the dialogue going and encourage those who know something to speak up. Silence shouldn't be an option when a family and community are in pain.
Any thoughts on how we can amplify this message and maybe reach the right person who holds the key to solving what happened to Turreze? It’s crucial that his story—and stories like his—don’t fade.
